I was being nosey through your gallery last night and I noticed the challenger 2 in iraq with the deseert paint being worn off, hwo did you do that?

I did it with humbrol masking fluid if you can wait i'll show you how its done in my next build log.........

Please do im waiting to paint my scimitar like that and i need a good method and yours looks rather good! .

Neil,
A wonderful informative build and you should be very proud of the final result.
The only thing I would say is the eyes on your crew are a bit starry. The coloured iris in the center should go under the top lid and slightly under the bottom lid as well, so you don't see a fully round iris.

I hope this shows what I mean?
The way I was shown to do it was to not paint a round iris in the center but to paint a line the thinkness of the iris from the top lid down to the bottom lid. Hope that makes sence?
Sorry to be picky but I make and fit artificial eyes for a living so its the first thing I see.
