The track I used was sent to me by Malcolm Ireson and it was from AA I believe. the track looks good detail wise apart from some nasty bubbles, and the hot water method worked as regards shaping. My problem was first time user I broke it so often I think I turned it almost into individual track links.

But first I had to heat the frontal armour because it had warped but somehow I managed to burn my fingers with my mum hairdryer :o .

Try dipping the resin parts in boiling water if you need to straighten them...the flexibility lasts longer and you won't burn your fingers.

And being scolded is better how exactly Takes me back to resin tracks and that damn Rammtiger.

Well, if you are careful and use a simple pair of tweezers and don't plunge your hand into the hot water it works very well. To each his own.....just trying to offer options to the young lad.

Great start James, going to look sweet when you've finished with the conversion. Have the same kit to build OOB, for the APC Campaign. Will keep checking in with you. Thanks for sharing your project!

Cheers -

Hey James, yeh iv been on courses and excercise.
the particular model your building is only avalible in the colours in the picture above.
because it's deployed in Iraq not Afghan, the one's in Afghan are desert but are the wrap 1 version, there was only one wrap 2 version in Afghan and it was my second vehicle and was used as a test bed,to see if the wrap 2 would work in that enviroment, how ever it did'nt,it's only good on road.
Pictures to follow
