Hey troops, got a question.
I have just received some Friul tracks for T34/85 and they are the crimp type rather than the wire pin type. My question is, does anyone know of a decent tutorial for these? Might save me some painful mistakes.
Thanks guys.

What Gary says is true. However, you can minimalize future problems with some pro-active work now. If you note, there is a jig where you place the links and then press closed the part to be crimped. A small flat-headed screwdriver would be best here.

Given that over time, the weight may cause some to give way, I would personally shoot drop of super glue on each gap. Of course, this should be done once the whole track is on the wheels. Does this seem radical? Given the alternative, I think not. Nor would I want to waste an otherwise very nice looking set of links.

Thanks Roy, appreciate the glueing tip.
Definately not going to chuck 'em out so the proactive approach will be the way I go.
Cheers, Kevin
