Small update only :
my soldering station is dead, waiting for a brand new one to resume work on PE so almost nothing more I cannot continue
and my hobby does not have anymore Evergreen rod in 1.2mm I need to redo the hinges

Murphy's law you know ......

Just finished the engine deck and added the exhausts with their covers

Started also to rework the hatches, also replaced the rear one
I'm having it on front of me since days, but I realized yesterday only that it was really to thin :
less than 1mm is really too thin for something which is 55mm at scale 1

Next steps : finished the roof, mainly reworked all hatches
( note that the open one is not glue yet and the axle still needs to be cut off to the correct length )

Now starting to work on the fenders and tool holders

Next steps : rear fenders and brackets
I didn't use the PE brackets which are too thin, so I've done them in plastic strips
( fenders are not glued yet, just there for the pictures )

Wow, there's some really nice modelling going on here! Your scratched parts look superb! Generally, l love the look of the build - so many different materials, so many colors

I always wanted to ask this: What putty is that you used for modelling the tarps etc. on the fender and the engine deck? People achieving perfect results with it.

Keep up the good work!
Johannes.

Hi Johannes,

Tks

The putty used for the tarps is Kneadatite green stuff Duro ( bi-components epoxy putty )
