Hi all,

Just finished the camo and setting the decals, it looks a bit shinny cause a glossy coat was sprayed on the kit for easy setting of decals. The kit is about 80% finished.
Hope that you will like it and comments are welcome.

Wow!!! Nice work. Which colors do you used for the NATO camo?

Have the Academy's kit half-finished but it looks like gona throw it to the trash and look for the new Tamiya! Or make it as an destroyed and burned out one...

Nice job. The only thing you might want to look at is the color of the MRK-19 ammo. I think it should be a duller color. I'll try and get a picture of the post it for you.

Nice work octopus. Is this the new tamiya Humvee? I love the camo tone and the dust effect on the windscreens. Very nice build and paintjob!

NIce build. Very well done. I like it.

One comment - the windscreen has a dust coat. I am assuming that you will dust up the vehicle too as you go.

I couldn't get any pics of MRK 19 rounds, here are some pics of an M203 round. Correct me if I'm wrong Sabot, but is the 203 round the same as the MRK 19 olny the 19's rounds are linked

I hope this helps

Very nice Steve! Looks like I'll be getting one of these when it's available here (I hope at a reasonable price).

Noticed a bit of silvering of the "KFOR" decal on the left rear door though. Can't wait to see it finished!

Guys,

Thanks for all your comments and especially thanks REMF11M for sharing with us the info about MRK 19 round. I painted the MRK 19 according to the instruction booklet with Tamiya acrylic X5. From the info that REMF11M has given that the color looks like silver gold and not green.

Octopus,

Do you plan to add long exhaust pipe? I see that you added air intake extender, so it looks that you plan Marines markings for your model. And if you really do than you also need long exhaust. These two things come together.

Try to change the angle of rear view mirrors, cause now the driver would see everything in them except for what is behind the vehicle

Still, your model looks very good - I'll wait to see it with matt cote applied as it is difficult to see the camouflage pattern now.

Pawel
