I have just started my new building, which is gonna be a part of German WWII train, my build for Stop, Look and Listen Campaign. More pictures and informations about these kits on my website:
mymodelplace
Resin parts are not very clean, big job with sandpaper is required, a bucket of putty will be handy too. Metal parts look nice, and all together have good details, which with some extra work can bring out nice and unusual kits.

Any comments most welcome.

That is really hard job, Jimmy.
3 cars are clean already, the resin parts, thought. another one to go and all the metal parts then. I am going to mould many adds in resin or make them another way, the passenger car will get full interior. A couple pictures for imagination, next week I will start with glue.

Thank you, guys,
I have ready metal parts for this car, and I will start with a glue soon. I got done some masters for casting in resin, the will by used to make silicone moulds now. The wheel is a kind I want to use with some Baluardīs good cars, as they came with regular wheels only, except the passenger wagon. I have made the steam heating valves (passenger car and locomotives) and 3-way valve for all the locomotives. The last one was very hard task, made from a bit of plastic with a file and modelling knife.

Thanks for looking and your comments.

I have done good progress on low sided car, now I will continue with brakes, air system and all the details. I finished first two silicone moulds, this one is for the air valve, needed for any wagon I build. I have applied a parting agent on it and tomorrow I will cast the other halves. Once it is dry, I can start with casting of resin. More can be found at my website:

Casting has been going well, most of the parts made are nice without damage. I have also done some work on the wagon.

I am working on flexible air hoses, which can be connected and disconnected, I hope the will look quiet realistic after painting. The resin valves will get levers, some handles will be added. Aberīs PE used for the footboards. I am getting ready moulds for couplings, as the metal ones from kit are very bad. I suppose to airbrush wagon with surfacer soon.
