So yesterday I was supposed to just pic up some MIG pigments, but since they were sold out at the hobby store I got this T-70 instead. It's the one from MiniArt, and I must say that I like the quality of the kit. The only thing I have changed is the net over the ventilations. I drilled out the plastic bits and cut it out with a knife. I added som plastic net I had in my spare box and some 0.5 styrense sheet that I sanded down a bit. I'm planning on make it the one from the Polizei division.
This is how much I have done in a couple of hours yesterday and today. Really a fun kit to build. I'm thinking about doing a diorama that is a WW2 version of the tv show "Cops" in some fun way. Hope you like it so far!

Good start Henrik, probably the right call to change out the vent screens. How's the detail for the rest of the kit? Are the tracks the 'rubber band' type or are they individual links?
Keep at it! Thanks for sharing.

The tracks are individual links, which is really good, but next time I'm building one of these i'm gonna go for some fruils and some PE screens for the ventilations.
Here is a small uppdate from yesterday. Did some more work on the hull, such as the insulation on the exhaust pipes and started on the tracks.
I also painted the inside of the turret since i'm gonna leave the turret hatch open for a figure.
I also applyed some filters, washes and pigment to the turret so it wouldn't be to bright white. But of course i guled the halfs together befor I took a picture.

Hello again Armorama readers!
Spring took a break the last couople of days, so i did some painting this weekend and today. I started of by priming the whole thing in in black.
Today I started on the yellow base color. I started by painting the inner part of a pannel and work my way out. Kind of a pre-shade.
Next I will give the whole thing a thin layer of yellow and then do some post shading and then it's on to the camouflage. Please comment!

Hello Armorama and fellow bulders! The spring is here and what is better than sitting in a room full of paint fumes?
I finally got my hands on some new paints and did some painting yesterday and today. Yesterday I finnished painting the base color of the camouflage (Hu83), then I did some panel high lights with Hu83+white.
Next it was all about getting the camouflage done. I started with the green. Since I wanted a really light green I used HU80 ("grass green"). I have used this one once befor, and I really like the shade of it.
Next up was the brown spots. For this i used Hu160 ("German camouflage brown").
I will leave the model alone for a couple of days and let all the pait really cure befor I move on and do some oil filters. Hope you like it so far and please leave comments!!
