This looks really nice. I wish there were passengers for the ride. I will have to pick one of these up.

They call the driver a "bonus driver"...?? Thats pretty low, show me a vehicle that doesn't need driver. A driver in the kit should be the minimum of what to expect. As long as they also have a guy firing the 50.cal on the boxart they should in all decency include him to. But by all means, a nice kit

That's nonsense. DML has only rarely included any figures with their kits, so yes, this IS a bonus. The only one I can think of from the top of my head is the Ardennes Tiger-B with the single link tracks.
And is things on the boxart should be included, there should have already been an M2/3 haltrack from DML included in the first Tiger-E late

Been waiting for this to come out. It's good to know i won't have to use two tamiya M3A2 / M21 kits(each), to build an M3 and a M3A1 halftrack. If Dragon is going to continue on this track, it would be good to see an M13(twin .50) and a T28, M15 and M15A1 3in1 kit. BTW let me dream some more. Maybe a T30 75mm HMC, a T19 105mm HMC. For those who like to build "Lend Lease" maybe a T48 57mm GMC, or M5/M5A1 and M9/M9A1 2in1 kits. Not to mention the M17 quad .50 MGMC. Ok i'll stop now, but i can dream can't i?

The T30 has alreeady been 'announced' - that is, Dragon have rushed out a CAD render, a day or so after the announcement of a kit of the 75mm pack howitzer as a launch release by new startup, Vision Models.
Suspicious munch?
This either means that Vision Models are 'connected' to Dragon, or that ( holds aching ribs ) Dragon had one 'in the works' already - and brought the release of images forward to head off drooling desire for kits from a new manufacturer...
Whatever.
There is scope for a lot of great releases, as you've listed.
Whether we get them all is a different story and will be based, I guess, on how many Dragon sell of the h/track kits they already have.
To all us folks who said 'Dragon should do an M3', I guess it's time to ante up...

Ron, I was thinking the same thing ,although the breakdown would be
T28,M15 and the M16 as a 3 in 1
Interesting insert is the rubber band track .If its like there sherman track its extremely well detailed .
This is going to be an exceptional kit out of the box .
Who needs photo etch to correct this one .
Well done DML I look forward to getting this one.

It would be nice if all companies provided figures for their models, after all, whats a tank without a commander, but its, in my opinion, unrealistic to expect it. Many people have no interest in figures. For those who do many vehicles span different periods of the war, encompassing often radical changes in uniforms. Should we expect a company to allow for all these differences and perhaps include two or three sets of figures? I think not. The cost alone would be prohibitive.

Please. Stop with these ridiculous rumors. Vision Models HAS NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH DML...This must be the 3rd, 4th or 67th time i've wasted MY time repeating this...
The Pack Howitxer is a completely different gun from the 75mm on the H/T. So, where's the conspiracy on this? That's right there ISN'T one....

Suspicious much?

Jim, I think you grabbed the wrong end of the stick if you interpreted my comment as passing on any sort of rumour that Dragon was connected to Vision Models - my intention was to the contrary in fact; I've reread the comment I made and can't find one instance where I said 'Dragon = Vision'..?
My comment was intended to highlight Dragon's inability to let any other player release a kit without their having a swing at the prize too - even if that means modellers wanting a kit of Vehicle A will put off buying a release of that kit from any other manufacturer on the basis of a CAD drawing from Dragon and a promise of Real Soon Now.
Vision Models have announced two interesting small kits for their initial releases, they look good from the few shots around the web and I hope they sell by the boatload - they deserve to and as modellers we should support new manufacturers who are willing to take a punt.
However - Dragon release a CAD drawing less than a week after Vision Models made their announcement and that CAD render 'just happens' to be a T30 h/t mounting a 75mm pack howitzer..?
It's NOT a 'conspiracy', but it is a dirty little spolier.
I know Dragon have no connection to Vision Models ( can I say that again? ) BUT they are implying they have a 75mm pack howitzer in the wings and ready to go on a h/t, and, gosh, y'know, that means maybe it'll come out on trails too..?
Cue any number of Dragon groupies not buying a perfectly good kit from another manufacturer because 'Dragon kits are just better'...
Also, I beg to differ about your statement that the 'The Pack Howitxer (sic) is a completely different gun from the 75mm on the H/T' - according to all the sources I could find in ten seconds on Google, the T30 GMC mounted the 75mm M1A1 Pack Howitzer , which is the same as the kit from Vision Models.
That's Vision Models, an independent company that has nothing to do with Dragon.
Anyhow, I really want the M3.
From Dragon.

This came up on Missing-Lynx a couple of weeks ago, and Steve Zaloga, who had done a T30, mentioned that, following further research, there WERE significant differences between the two guns. Broadly,it IS based on the Pack Howitzer, but there were some important differences.
Here are Steve's comments:

The T30 75mm HMC used the 75mm from the M1A1 Field howitzer, not the pack howitzer. Different cradle and mount; only thing in common is the gun tube and breech. I scratch-built one of these some years ago after buying the Tamiya white metal pack howitzer thinking it could be used.
It wasn't particularly you I was addressing the comments about the Rumors - when I posted the original news of Vision Models, there were several people who decided to put 2 & 2 together and make 17, I actually KNOW the people behind Vision and they are a long-way away from Dragon-Central.
I know DML do spoilers and yes, it's irritating, but following on from their M2s & M3s, a T19 or T30 would be a logical place to go. Check out this thread on the M3a1:
