Are they still availible and if so from who and for how much ?
Also looking for interior photos / drawings of SU-85 . Any good books that you may know of , or web site . I want to build a Tamita SU-85 that been damaged by an internal explosion or a mine . The idea is to have damaged track , indivdual link should work ,but don't want to go too expensive on a Tamiya kit. So no Fruti (sp?) track. I also want to show the roof plate forced up by the blast. , so need basic fighting compartment photos. Thanks for any and all help . Jim

Thanks , Lyndon . I sort of figured they were out of production , but once in a while some old , obscure stuff shows up at our LHS. The ocasional gem that no one local would ever want but is badly needed by someone elsewhere. I once found a dozen Roco HO scale Unimogs at a hobby shop in Edmonton , Alberta that were priced at $4 each , the new ones at $16. The only difference were that the old were unpainted , I took the lot. Sent some to a couple of friends in B.C.
I've got a set of track from Tank Workshop on order , so I can go ahead on my model. Do you know if Dragon sells track sets ? Thanks again Jim

Dragon is not offering their T-34 tracks separately at the moment, but they may do so through their Cyber Hobby subsidiary in the future. They have started selling the German and American tracks. Haven't seen the Maquette tracks in a while, as the company appears to be defunct. The molds may turn up elsewhere eventually.

i agree with Gerald on this one, eastern express (another Russian model company that went bump) their moulds are now being churned out by another company... i forget the name, though i think there was a post about it on here somewhere, so it wouldn't suprise me. alot of people didn't like the tracks coz of all the clean up required but i found once that was taken care of they didn't look half bad. just my opinion.
