What a wonderful job. I am awestruck at all the work you put into this kit. I did this kit with AEF interior parts probably 15 years ago and was happy with how it all came out. However, I didn't put nearly as much effort into the model as you did.
Great job again, can't wait to see it painted.

Hi all,
I started the painting and here are the first pics. It's far from completion and all your comments are welcome.

Sorry for the poor pictures due to the use of daylight.

Looks nice!
I painted my BMP-2E with wrong colors. So it was more orange than sand and brown instead of green.

That looks very good! I like the dirt-effect.
But the newer pictures have a greenish "tint". I hope, this is due to the lighting conditions.

Very good Olivier!
Maybe you can add some dark pinwashes to increase contrast. I think it would add some extra visual interest.
Don't get me wrong, you've done a great job sofar!

Hi Soeren, no change in the color. Maybe it is the color of the background that gives this impression.
Jurjen, I understand what you mean. I always fear to spoil the work done by overdoing the weathering. I'll try to enhance the contrast. Thanks your the comment.

I like detail. Very Impressive work !!! I typically build straight out of the box. I am ok with that. I at times go all out. Great research and detail. Maybe fabricate some new straps on outside of turret ? How many hours spent so far ? - Bobby

I have been a bit lazy with the straps

Can't answer to the last question. In fact, a lot ! I even made a break as I was fed up with the amount of work to do. Every time, I opened my references books or looked at the pictures I found new details to add.
Thanks for the comments Marian and Adam. I don't think it's the best BMP over there but the best I did
