I am currently working on the AFV M10 tank destroyer.
This is a nice kit. Overall fit is is very clean and tight, there is no flash on the parts, and instructions are clear. The kit comes with a metal gun tube, rubber band tracks, and a hull interior.
At this time the hull is almost completed, with the turret/gun next on the agenda. This M10 has been cobbled up a bit. Using photos from Squadron's U.S. Tank Destroyers in Action, I have tried to replicate damage to the front fenders, added a water can holder on the front hull and a crossbar to hold sandbags or extra gear/stowage. A helmet is stuck over one driver's light, (the other light has to be painted yet), and a couple of gas can holders have been applied to the side of the vehicle. From the photos, this stuff appeared to be field applied with a lot of variety apparent among vehicles.
As an aside, this kit is a dry brushing dream come true with lots of high spots to high light including the numerous bolts around the hull. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
Please see the attached pictures which I hope you will enjoy. Thanks.

That is outstanding. If you guys don't quit doing such a fine job and making we want to buy and build all of these kits my wife is going to start kicking some @ss. Love the weathering.

SteveWWH,
Nice job on the M10. I really like your way painting the kit. I am wondering if the kit tracks are a bit shortened? You know I have been planning to build one some day. Can't wait to see it finished.

Lord WWH,
your expertise in clean build, preshading as well as drybrushing is once again evident in this fine piece of work.
I am very very impressed with your superb painting skill of them mono-tone AFV, these are in my opinions the hardest to do. I wish my Tauchpanzer (which is also mono-tone) will come out close to yours.
Bravo!

Hi Steve!
Looks really nice. The interior detail are good -- don't like the "empty boxes". It's always interesting to see: what's inside of the beast?

Lovely work Wewillhold. Others have talked about the monotone colours being splendid, and I can only agree. The shades and variations are brilliant and the detail pops out just the same! Not an easy feat to achieve. Love this finish.
For me personally, I would have to add some subtle differences to add a little more visual pleasure. ie; the gas cans or the tarps in different greens. Something just to stand out to totally break up the scheme. This is just my preference ... should it be right or wrong!!
Looking forward to seeing it finished!

Looking good so far ...Nice job on the paint job....The only thing I'm not too sure of is ..I think that floor under the turret should be OD green just because of the open top of the M10..I'm not sure of this but seems likely. And if you want to be picky you should sand off those punch marks on the back of the seats, but you probably won't see them once all closed up..I'm just being picky ,keep up the super job.

Nice job!
A couple comments:
The color of the floor is fine. Some were repainted OD, but most photos show it in white.
If I were you, I'd ditch the two-handled jerry can on the front and replace it with a three-handled can. It is just plain distracting on an otherwise nicely done model. Anytime you get an old kit with those two-handled jerry cans, just throw them away and replace with some correct ones.
Also, the track on the driver's side is backwards ...
Can't wait to see the turret!

Another great one from Da OD-Meister! Making a monotone not look monotonous is difficult but you definitely pulled it off

Geez. I did exactly that M10.... and painted in OD too, not as good as this one, but in my defense, I don't do ODs!!!!!
