Nice work! A little weathering on the bedsprings and they're great. It's nice to see one with the bedsprings on the hull instead of the turret.

Hi Andy. Are these the bed springs as supplied with the kit? They donīt look half bad.
I had the Aber set to do this myself, when Dragon came out with their kit. I bought the Dragon kit and had considered using the Aber anyway, as it usually better ... but this looks spot on as it is. Agree with the guys ... some damage would look the part.

guys thanks for the kind remarks..
frank yep these are the pe that came with the kit,to be fair the detail on the mesh is outstanding it even looks like the seperate wires cross over...overall im really happy with it..there are a few points like having to cut out the engine cover which was a ball ache, and the engine louvre parts are slightly oversized,oh and not to mention the hole in the mantle is too big for the alu barrel!!!
Andy
PS Lemmy rocks dude

Well its finished guys..what do you think?..ive tried to be a little more restrained with this one when it came to the weathering!!..it's airbrushed with tamyia dark green and i even splashed out on some Mig pigments(wife don't know yet!)..i really enjoyed building this kit..i apolagise for the quality of the photos but i have to use my phone to take them due to my five year old drop kicking the digital camera for a 3 point field goal..!LOL...All feedback is greatly appreciated..

Andy,
Hard to give any feedback, because it does look terrific....BUT you may want to go back over the running gear with a brown oil paint wash...it will take away some of the powdered look.
You may also want to mix a few powders to come up with diffrent shades of earth.
I'm no expert, but here is my test tank I try this out on before commiting to a finished kit.

That should work....just do a little at a time, and use very little oil paint untill you get the hang of it. Watch out for tide marks.
You could also "tune" the amount of pigments using Dull Coat sprayed through the airbrush...careful, too much Dull Coat and it will disapear. Testing is the order of the day since your project looks fine as is. I would hate to see you muck it up (I speak from experience)
Ryan
BTW That is excellent rusted steel on the bedsprings! Some dryed, dead leaves would look good placed in strategic places.

Hi Andy looks great what pigments did you use for weathering? I also like the beat up Berlin look of the beadsprings. Great effort.
Best wishes

I think it came out great, the beat up screens, and I think the powder look came out good on the tracks and running gear
