Put a little color into your next build.
Snapped these on the way home from MosquitoCON last Saturday.

Very interesting. Do these vehicles actually respond to emergencies or are they parade show cars?

funny as it may seem, i was thinking of buying one of these for my first car. I might just have to consider this paint scheme and for a model as well

Yep, Used by the Wayne, NJ Office of Emergency Management/Police Department.
Wayne has several flood prone areas, so these get regular work out during the rainy seasons.

I remember as kid in the 1970's and 1980's our local volunteer fire department had one converted to serve as a tanker truck. It wasn't the fastest, but served the department well. It eventually was totally by a sheriff's squad car. Both were on the way responding to different calls. They each tried to go through a 4-way stop sign intersection, but the truck was just getting to the middle of the intersection when the squad car hit it broad side. I heard the crash at my house about a block to two blocks away. It bent the frame of the truck and really mashed the police car. Both drivers survived. The truck sat idle till the tank could be transferred to a new unit.

The memory of that truck roaring (literally) down the road still lingers to this day.

Nice to see a bit diferrent scheme.
Itreminds me of a trip to Topsail island, I saw a HMMV in a Police Black and White scheme. They also had an older armored car in BW.

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing Dave. I saw the same truck as on the first photo in front of the local fire department the other day – painted in red instead of blue (a bit darker than fire engine usually is).
