Actually now I am pretty sure it's just a pure DDoS (denial of service) type of attack.

Jim
I'll join the queue as well - for your info.
13/4 - couldn't get on at all "Internet Explorer unable to find web page described. Are you connected to the internet etc" (which I was - I usually have 2-3 pages open at a time)
Last night got on no problems and about 20 minutes into my session - bang - same message as above. Again still able to cjheck out other sites. I "called" back several times over 3 hours and still couldn't get on.
Tonight - on first go.
Maybe my dates etc coincide with those above as the International Date Line is in between us and I can't remember which way it works - but anyway that is the situation on the East Coast of Aus.

I still can't get on directly. When I attempt to go to the Armorama or Aeroscale home page, I get the following on a blue screen:
Great Success !
Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server
If you can see this page, then the people who manage this server have installed cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM) which use the Apache Web server software and the Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) successfully. They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content.

Been getting the same message as Gino for over 24 hours.
Very, very frustrating
Finally was able to access the site via a WarWheels link and have now changed all my bookmarks for the Kitmaker network i.e armorama.kitmaker.net rather than armorama.com
Here's hoping it's resolved.
Cheers

Same thing with cPanel...
every time I go to Armorama.com I get this screen:
I have to skip through my History to conect (and it happens only when I'm at work and using IE, I use Opera at home and I don't have this problem there).

I had that problem last night and fixed it with a forced refresh. The problem (at least in my case) was that my browser had saved a copy of the Apache page at the time for faster loading, but was not updating it with the regular page anymore.
In Firefox, I hit the Ctrl+F5 buttons at the same time and that forced a refresh and update of the cache.
Hope it helps!
Jamie

Removing history and cookie files did not help, but I use IE at work... As I've written before problem does not exist when I'm at home using Opera.

For anyone having a problem getting the cPanel screen you'll need to do a forced refresh or delete your cached files (I don't know why it wouldn't work otherwise as obviously we have 500+ users on now).
I have blocked some suspcious IP addresses and I am unsure of what screen you'll get for that. Probably an access denied message, but you woulnd't be able to access any KitMaker site from that IP.
Thanks,
Jim

JIm what's a denial of service attack? I don't know much about web jargon yet.
It's basically where multiple servers (usually) are used to overload a site with too many requests which causes the server to go offline or become very slow. Those nasty viruses we hear about infecting our PCs for instance can be used to orchestrate these attacks.
