Here is my Tiger I late w/zimmerit from DML. The figures are also DML, the LAH panzer crew set. I scratch built (first time scratchbuilding!) and spares boxed a partial, through the loader's hatch interior for it. The project is mostly complete, I just need to do a bit of final weathering, attach the crew, and do a small, simple base for it. All criticism is welcome. Hope you like it![:]

Very nice job,the interior looks good, and I like this missing fenders and crew.the only suggestion would be more weathering on the road wheels, they look clean, also try to paint the wheel edges metal to show worn paint.

This one will be my next project on th 88 campaign.....did you have to shorten the DS tracks,if so how ??

thanks for sharing

Thanks, Anthony. I did have to shorten the tracks by two links and extend the idler all the way out. I used this method from David Byrden's great site.

Looks real good. The figures really help. Agree that the wheels need a little work, but overall nice work. Just curios, did you do a white wash or did the flat clear coat make it white.

Thanks Andy, I'll fix up the suspension. No, it was neither the flat coat (didn't apply one, just semi gloss then a misting of Buff - works just as well), nor a whitewash. I tried to make grey city dust (using light grey chalk pastels) , and it didn't come out quite as well as I would have liked. Call it a learning experience.

Alright, I made a few changes, added some stowage, added a bit of foliage camo from branches and spices - how do you like it?

I got a nice chipping effect with salt on the cans.

The foliage on the bow armour.

Excellent work Scott. I like your camo job, as well as the damaged zimmerit, turned out well. Your figures add a nice touch to it. Thanks for sharing!

This project is finished now, as I have completed the base. It's my first diorama, so any constructive criticism/comments at all are welcome, please!

Thanks everyone!

Scott put quite simply, stunning mate, the weathering, the chipping. brilliant, wish i was as good, and the figures really set the peice for me, the life-likeness in their facial expressions is excellant, and their uniforms, especially the camo is spot on. can't wait to see your next project well done mate. It looks fantastic. One suggestion is that your dirty tracks don't match the terrain in any way. I like the effect you did on the tracks, but either the ground dirt should be muddied up or the track dirt dusted up. Overall, a lot of great work into that project. Congrats

Thanks for the comments, guys.

California Greg, I should probably fix that. I have to get some proper colours of chalk pastels!

Smitsan, thanks for the comment. Your English is fine, don't worry about it!

milvehfan, I am glad you like it.

Thanks

Thanks E. and Shaun. If I can give you some advice for figures, it's practice! I have done...maybe 40 figures, and only recently have they become acceptable!
