Have now added all of the coats. In the end i added a second clear coat because i wasn't happy with the finish of the first.
Unfortunately the heater has melted a few areas on the figures, but most can easily be bent back. The exception is this one. I think his barrel overheated!
Not to worry, i think i have a few MG's in my spares box.

Luke,
It looks great. Your ground work is very realistic and convincing. I’m sure it works well for parts of Europe but it also reminds me of the desert in southeastern New Mexico. The brush, sand, wood fence, rusty drainage pipe, dilapidated drums, and corrugated tin are all typical of many areas near the Pecos and Hondo rivers around Roswell. You could easily replace the WWII Tiger and infantry with a 1980’s Jeep Wrangler and some underage teens with a case of Coors Light or Lone Star beer and recreate a scene from my misspent youth.
Looking forward to more progress pics. Keep up the good work!

I just stumbled across this while searching for inspiration for an Eastern Front dio. Your work is exceptional and it looks so lifelike. Well done!

Hi Luke,
Your build is coming together very nicely. I love the whole ditch, culvert and junk combination!
I have a resin pour coming up in the near (of far) future so I'm sponging-up all the knowledge I can before I actually commit. I seem to get the impression that resin is a bit sketchy to deal with -- especially at depths. Anyhow, thanks for sharing the blow-by-blow of the build.
Here's to looking forward!

I really like the muddy water and the ditch. These are pretty old posts. Anything happening on this lately?
