Hi Rob,
Excellent work once again. You should produce a DVD of your techniques, I would be your first customer. Once again, thanks for taking the time to share.
Cheers, Jim.

Guys, thanks for still following this build. The one turret is at the end stages of painting and rusting. I'll take some pics of the finished turret with better lighting, then post them. I'll start the second turret on the weekend so hang in there and thanks for checking in.

Hi gents
Since I keep getting asked how I do my wrecks, I thought I would do a "how-to". If anyone here is interested here is a link to the how to. I figured it's easier this way than to try and explain my tech each time some one asks, not that I mind.

Hope this will help any one willing to try a wreck.

Guys sorry about the disappearing pics, I exceeded the bandwidth on photo bucket, the unexpected 181,000+ hits on my pics is what did it.
Jaymes... thanks for helping with the link, I failed to check to see if it was there.
I did manage to work on the second turret and take some better pics of both. The turrets still need some final work done then it's time for the hulls.
Better pics of the first turret.
I'll try to finish off these turrets and get the hulls going and will post pics of the progress.

Guys, thanks for the kind words.
Jaymes thanks a bunch, the Abrams is coming along slowly, got sidetracked with the T55's.
Kim... no problem as long as no one claims the idea, it's there for who ever wants to try it. Let me know how it works out for you guys in Korea.
I haven't spent much time at the bench as of late but did get a few things added to the hulls and will post the pics soon.

I hope to get more done soon and will update as usual.

I still can't get over how the turret looks. I keep going back to see them. The fenders look nice and beat up.

Hi Rob! Those fenders are awesome, they should really add to the 'un-loved' depiction of these poor unfortunates. Keeps you away from mutilating any Big Cats eh?
Looking good... Phil.

Hi all sorry I haven't posted much in the last few weeks, been trying to square away some personal things. I started back up with building again and finished off the two hulls. Here is how they look right now, waiting for a primer coat and some extreme weathering.
Thanks for looking.

A quick up date.
I started painting one of the hulls, but there is still more work to do on it. the wheels will be next up to paint.
I'll post more as the painting and weathering progresses.
