Hi Willow,

Well done so far. It is great to see someone so young posting their work.

I like the way that you have damaged the rubber on the road wheels

One little suggestion on the tracks. Put the join at the top where it will be hidden by the side skirt.

Happy modelling and thanks for sharing.

Cheers Jim.

Keep going, it can be built in a really good kit just out of box.
This is mine, painted with brush.

Hey Willow

Dont worry about not having all the Gucci gear to start off with, just a bit of creativity. The Trump Chally 2 is an ideal kit to have a crack at if you are a novice so good choice.

Looking good so far, keep us posted with lots of pics.

Welcome to the hobby.

Rudi, yep how did ya know?

i have a little question to ask
in the instructions it says to use gunze mr colour paints, and im not familiar with them , im more familiar with tamya colours but im still not too familiar with them. it says to use H12|33 flat black and H 78|38 olive drab 2, what would be the closest im tamiya please:)
on the box the colour is quite sandy, isnt olve drab a green, ?

sorry for being a pain!

I've had the trumpeter Challenger 2 Op Telic since christmas and i havent even started it yet, good to see you get straight in to building it. The trumpeter kits have good fit and the detail is pretty good compared to others - good choice in the kit, i especially like the dozer.

Hi Willow
nice start so far. If this was not your intention, you should pay some attention on the roadwheels alignment. Some of them are not in contact with the tracks.
The turret assembly is quite a headache due to a poor fit more specially during the various bins assembly to the main body of the turret.

Don't worry about an airbrush. You could start with a basic one using air bottles. It's generally cheap and helps being acquainted with the technique.

Keep on posting !
Olivier
