This is mostly a test of the new setup but I also wanted to welcome everyone to the new dedicated server. For many of you the site is probably not fully resolving to the new IP address (http://63.247.69.227) so you have been forwarded here from the other server. There will likely be some missing members for a day or so as this new information gets propagated out through the internet. Bottom line, if a buddy is missing you might want to pass on the IP address to them as that might be the only way they can access the site (short-term).
It seems to be running well. After a few hicups I got all the changes made, but there may still be some glitches here and there. We are now running the most current server software and out old servers were not quite as "modern". Let me know if anything seems odd.
Cheers,
Jim

Congrats Jim on the perfect switch.
I missed the site for ± 1/2 day and got some withdrawal effects but now I feel fine again #:-)
One question,
Is everything working again? I mean can I place pictures in the gallery and ad reviews / features again??

Ronny,
Yes the gallery should be fine now. Although with this new server I can set FTP rights for specific users. How's your FTP experience??

Way to go Jim. Seems like a job well done!
I'll try all sorts of things - in the way of clicking - to find any of those possible hiccups.

So far (let’s no tempt Murphy) Great! Glad to see I'm not the only 'addict' around looking for an online fix.

Jim,
Nice work. Did find one error.
When you click on the news link from the main menu, on the page that comes up listing the news articles, this error is visible at the beginning of each article:
"Warning: Compilation failed: PCRE does not support L, l, N, P, p, U, u, or X at offset 4 in /home/armorama/public_html/includes/autolinkinc.php on line 95"
Looks like a placeholder for a graphic-maybe.
