Wondering who would be interested in a small scale only campaign. While some would consider small scale anything smaller than 1/35 I would suggest scales ranging from 1/144 up to and including 1/72. I'd like to open it up to all subjects as well as there are a lot of possibilities in a/c, armor, figures etc. Any thoughts? Timeline TBD. Thanks, "Q"

Could be interesting. Good idea to open it up to the all categories. I really think these multi type (AFV, AC, Figures) campaigns tie the different forums on the kitmaker network better together.

Wow, just the two of us... I should probably get these other campaigns completed first before I start up any new ones. At least I know I got one person who is interested. Thanks Jesper. "Q"

I'm game, too. I like small scale, anyway. (Don't forget the GHQ models, either... 1/285?)

Aahh.. this dilemma. So many interesting campaigns, so little time to finish them up in time. Ok, I´m in but can´t promise I´ll finish in time.

Sure - I could go for another mini magic ...
My 2 cents:
Maybe July 1 to Dec 31, 09 (plenty o time), any scale 1/72 and smaller, open theme maybe?

keeping my fingers crossed, but I submitted it as a proposal. Decided to change the title to "Lets Get Small" taking a reference from my favorite comedian, Steve Martin. Hopefully will get more interest. Thanks for the interest thus far guys. "Q"

Hi Y'all
I'm in. Hopefully y'all will let me re-do a Rocco HO piece. If not, I have some Dragon 1/144 pieces I need to do.
Sounds like fun!

Matthew, you could twist my arm to join. So far all I've done is 1/72 and have a fair stash of possible subjects. All right, so I'll bite! Count me in with something small. BTW, are we talking just vehicles? Just curious.
Cheers,
Jan

Jan, thanks for the support Not just vehicles. I want to open this up to figures, aircraft, and other small scale subjects. I think limiting it to just one subject ie. vehicles would be counter productive. I know I have a ton of subjects other than armor that would fit the bill, so I want to give everybody a chance to participate. I plan on inviting folks who surf the other forums to join as well. Much like I did with my Get the Job Done Again campaign I have running. Any and all comers are welcomed as long as their build meets the criteria. Thanks again for the support. "Q" BTW, are we talking just vehicles? Just curious
That makes 8.....come on folks. Join us for some small scale fun!

Haven't heard back as yet, but we have got enough for an official campaign. I will ping one of the admin folks later to check on the status. Just to re-emphasize the ground rules for everybody...'
1. Any subject is allowed.. Aircraft, armor, auto, figures, diorama's, ships (Although these usually arent small in 1/72, but they are allowed, sci-fi etc. etc. etc.
2. Scale should be 1/144-1/72 (I'm leaning away from the 1/285 end of the spectrum such as the GHQ items as those are pretty much shake and bake...meaning, add paint and your pretty much done. I want folks to work at least somewhat to finish something ) If in doubt, just ask me and we can go from there.
3. Timeline should run July thru the end of December... (I'm drawing a blank as to the actual start date I submitted, but I know it is sometime in July...more than likely the 1st.
4. Post pics of your completed builds in the gallery for credit. If for some reason (which applies to me) you can't upload any more pics into the gallery, I will scrub the forum to confirm your completions. For some reason my gallery is chock full with all of a handful of piccs, so I assume there are others that might have the same problem.
5. Last, but certainly not least..above all else, have some fun with this.
Thanks for the support and motivation on this one guys. Much apprecciated. I'll let you know once we get the official nod of approval.
Thanks again, "Q"

I wrote Mark this morning to check on the status. Will let you all know something when I hear back from him. Might be a few days as it is Memorial Day week end here and folks often travel/go camping over this weekend, but as soon I hear anything, I will let you know. Thanks for the support all. "Q"

Howdy
The Western Slope of Colorado just checked in and signed up. Now I just need to decide what to build. It will probably be a 1/144 Dragon armor piece.
Y'all have fun now,
Don "Lakota"
