Hello Darren, ever since I can remember I have always had an intrest in weaponary, and I have never seen anything like that vehicle before, and when someone said its a buffalo, all I got was everything but the vehicle when I searched the internet, now I know its a landing vehicle tracked - 4 (whatever that means ?) I can find it easily, but what a weird vehicle.
Not being funny, and my memory has long been shot, but I've just come off youtube, and the LVT-4 Alligator is there, in fact there's actual footage of the landing craft telling you all about the spec's and very good, point in question, I keep forgetting about youtube for a 'huge' list of information, all I did was click in the main window on screen LVT-4 and the 3rd left hand side window down, and everything came up, really good film.

Hello Brian, that isn't the Airecobra 37mm. It is supposed to be a Polsten 20mm gun which were mounted on British Buffalo's. I have seen one photo of a 37mm mounted on a LVT, but it was mounted on the rear deck of an US Army LVT(A)-2. It can be found in Squadron's "LVT's in Action" book. AlLVT-4 with a twist, the 37mm is from the P-39 Aircobra. Field Mod., Pacific.

Hi Al,
I stand corrected. Looked like the 37mm, not use to that scale.
I've also seen the LVT with the 37mm on it, but not in the "LVT in action." book has you refer to. There's also one in the "Sherman in action." in the background on page19. Might be the same photo.
Anyways, sorry for the hijack, Alec.
