hello, although i have a few projects on the go i decided to start one to accomadate the skoda, as i ahve decided not to use it in my poland '39 dio due to historical accuracy, here i am building a groundwork set in france in the summer of 1943, where a officer and his girlfriend have stopped his car to look into the river at birds/fish whatever ( do you get swans in france?)
there will be a building ( represented by the lethal weapon boxset)
(yay lethal weapon)
and all the brick and stonework will be cork, and i will probably use EZ water for the river.

Hi
Remember if it's a road wide enough for two way traffic they drive on the other side going that way
Hope you get your cork.
Alan

hello guys, Repairs before i continue i think
Erik, do you know where i can get any swans?
Hey Alan, i hope i get a hold of that cork too, i really want to pull my finger out and actually construct a diorama, not assemble one,
The building(represented by the best films ever) will be around 2 storeys tall, and have a raised enterance with small rectangular windows at ground level to let the light into the cellar. i have made the small faucet thing out of half a cardboard toilet roll tube slice!
i just need to add bars, and i want the river to be in an esturary or on the coast, so there will be seaweed on the edges.
sory also for the bad pictures. sunlight was fading when i took them.

If you cant get cork, just use different thicknesses of stiff card. This will also work for giving you your cobblestone effect. If you want a rougher appearance on stone on the bridge, paint with Mr. Surfacer 500 or even mix in some fine powder and/or dust to whiteglue and paint over. Having cork shouldn´t be the make or break factor.

hello guys,
Alan , i forgot to mention im not sure wether it will be one way or two ways yet.
Frank, thanks for looking in, although it would be cheaper to pick up cork or use the susty thing method as oposed to buying mr surfacer,
well they say start small so i did only a little bit today ( apart from starting the repairs on my car)
i added some Faux wood supports, and the bars , now the inside is painted black. i think the bars will be rusty

Hi james,
Good start on this,
my matter with it, would be to try to be more regular in the stonework.
Maybe try to design each stone before place them.
Hope you understand what I mean, my english is ****.
Bye.
Alexandre.

hey guys thanks for watching!
Alexandre,
i have seen a few older walls that look like this around the local area,
the rest of the front wall will remain fairly scatty, but the architecture on the house will call for more precise stone and borderwork.
plus your english is good!
thanks
James

today i return happy, les sweary and with a smily face, sucess, a good set of pics!
the drainage bit i have been working on
i have cut out the underneath, so there is a hole in which the drain sits
the plaster is my a5ttempt at putting a curvature on the road before i lay down the cobbles.
now im not sure what cobbles to do, i ahve seen lots of pictures, small and square, interlocking brick shapes, e.t.c and im not sure what cobbles would
A; look interesting
B; not be really really hard
and C; not be a boring colour.
see yas

hello, i want to place a sinister undertone to the diorama, and have been browsing for shifty looking civillians or civillians that would be easy to convert to one concealing a weapon.
i have lookd through quite a few civillians and still havent found a suitable lookign one, could anyone help with this please!
oh does anyone make a 1/35 swan also?
thanks for your help

James, good work. You might want to add more rungs on the access ladder. The figure standing on the water would have to lift his foot up to waist height to get to a rung.
