Hi all,
here are some pictures of my latest rework model. I've saved an old Tamiya Sherman from the trash bin and gave a new twist on it.
Before,
I've added some resin periscopes and added some missing details with evergreen.
after
Painting has been done with a base coat of tamiya OD, and the camouflage pattern was hand painted with Vallejo. The branches are made from seafoam with a product called MiniNature for a company in Germany.
The final weathering has been done with some filters and MIG Pigments
The figures are tamiya/dragon/verlinden with hornet heads and the .50 cal is from Academy
I hope you like it.
Martin

Hey Martin
Another great sherman mate!
You have turned a mediocre kit into a well finished piece.
I do think you meant 8th TB though!
Some lovely paint work, although the close up photos show a few things you haven't added but have probably done so deliberately, being a rescued kit

A lovely job overhauling this old kit. Makes me want to dig my Tamiya M4 out of the stash!

Thanks Dave for correcting my topic title
@ Al, thanks
@ Andrew, I don't know what the original color was. I've save this sherman from someone else trash bin. Sorry
