Hi John,
Resicast do a Para Driver, but I might leave the crew dismounted. Just see how it develops.
Decals should be here next week and I'm working on some stores.

Hi Gusy,
I sourced soem decals for the jeep from Panzer Prints, thanks to Andrew.
http://www.panzer.prints.freeuk.com/general.htm
Bob Fleming of Panzer Prints tells me he has a limited supply left, but he does WD Numbers and Divisional signs for both 1st and 6 th Airborne and they are a much cheaper option than the Resicast set.
These are not waterslide decals, you kinda rub them on and then wet the backing paper. Mine didn't want to stick but I was able to get them off and positioned and just sealed them on with clear. You need to act fast though
I also noticed when building the Signals version that I had left off parts A1 and 2 the side cushions that go by the drivers seat so a fix required there.

Al,
Wow! Great progress. And nice looking builds. (excuse the grammer) I see what you are doing with some of the accessories I asked about in the other jeep progress thread.
You are a machine.

Hi Tony,
Thanks, I just need to determine where, if anywhere, I will put the divisional signs. I shall need to make some plates for them if I decide to add them. These could be attached to the bumper or the grill. The RA jeep needs some RA markings too, so a ways to go yet.
Cheers

Hey Al,
The Jeep's coming along really well.
Sorry to hear that you had troubles with the decals.
One trick I've used with dry transfers is the rub them down onto a clear water slide decal sheet and apply some of Microscale's Micro-Liquid Decal film to fix them to the sheet.
I then just let them dry, cut them out of the sheet and applied them like a regular water slide decal.
Liberal applications of Micro-Sol and Micro-Set made them snug down just nicely, then just added a coat of clear coat.
I tried it with some old Verlinden and Accurate Armour dry transfers and it seemed to work pretty good.
If you don't particularly like dry transfers, it may be worth your giving it a try ???
Cheers
