This is a really well made dio Rafal. I commend you on your use of photo etch in such a small scale as well your figure conversions. The ground work and buildings are outstanding.

Now that is very, very good!

I will be interested to see how you are going to depict the knocked out PzIV. Did it simply throw a track and was abandoned by its crew or was it knocked out?

BTW, your basework is superb as well.

Looking forward to seeing more progress pics.

Hi, and thanks for coming ;-)

Generally speaking the idea was to depict the result of fast, heavy and brutal fights in Normandy: the small group of soldiers is entering carefully the town to check what was happened to the tank no:....
The tank will have the holes after hits of High explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warheads in suspension part. One HEAT damaged the shutzen and melted metal drops down on rubber part of the wheel and burned it out. The crew has quickly escaped but nobody knows where they are now. That's why these soldiers are looking for them now...
So, more-less this was the story behind.
At the moment I am painting the base colors on these areas where I was inserting some additional parts. I added also self-made zimeritt on turret covers and mudguards.

Tank is hybrid of SS das reich & HJ

thx RJ

Extremely impressive build, Rafal. Do you have some sort of machine that shrinks you down to that scale so that you can work on your projects! I cannot help but think that builds to this quality level may actually intimidate others from posting their work. Anyway, superb job.

Cheers,
Jan

How do you paint details after the construction is complete?

Very nice job. The use of pigments is heavy and gives a realistic look for this type of "heavy fighting" set up. Very well done!

Thanks for sharing

Hi
Great builds love the braille diorama. too small for my clumsy fingers .
The latest pic's of your next build are very impressive too.
Only thing I'm not sure of is the Jerry cans strapped to the Shurtzen Armour frames on the turrets. Other wise great.
