Although I don't model modern stuff, I certainly enjoyed the photos.
Thanks for posting the links Adam.

Hi!

Happy to hear that!

Unfortunately that's all we have (on the ground)... New MBT's are on the agenda, as well as new howizters, helos, and few MRAP's to our guys in Baghlan.

But at least we have some brand new JAS Gripens

I'll try to keep on uploading pics, but due to the economic recession, most public military events were cancelled. So I plan to visit two military parks this summer, for some ex-Warsaw pact vehicles.

Just post your questions, if there's any.

Cheers, Adam

Hi All!

I am going to visit a military park this summer, packed with a lot of ex-Warsaw Pact vehicles.

If there is something you might need, just post it here. I will have plenty of time, batteries and SD cards

Hi, thank you very much for the big gallery!
There are some interesting vehicles and details inside.

offtopic:
It would be fine, if there on the net where big and detailed galleries of russian/soviet space. (satellites and probes)
So I would continue my space-projects.

greetings...
Soeren

Dear AVRE165!

These SAM systems were recently modernized in Poland to meet NATO requirements (such as IFF), that is why they have the new Diehl tracks.

A nice kit can be built out of Trumpeter's box, but it needs some extra work if you want a perfect model. Resizing the hull, the missiles, and many small detalis.

Of course, it looks great also if it's just built straight out of box.

Greetings,
Adam

Adam,
in regards to resizing the SA-6 hull , do you have any dimensions to go by? I'm particularly interested in knowing the wheel spacing.

Dear Adam
At one of the big Hungarian museum parks there is a T34 with an angled box like superstructure where the turret used to be? If you have any photos of that, especially the top of it I'd very much like to see them. Thanks

Some minor updates!

2P25 M1 and M2 (SA-6) and rocket transporter-reloader trucks.

A Shilka is coming soon, as well as the English version.

Note that there is a second gallery with the newer pics, since the first one is full: picasaweb.google.hu/MHRFWEB.2

Once the Englsh page will be ready, navigation will be easier.

The english version of the site just has kicked off!

And we have some new Zsu-23-4 Shilka details. Zsu-54-2 is coming soon!

Those who have English internet browser, the page should load in English, right at the startup. Others may click on the small flag to change language.

If you find any dead link, misspelling, grammatical error, or Hungarian text in the English version, please send me a mail.

You might register for regular updates and news.

The forum is still ony in Hungarian, but they don't use it either

Visit it and have fun!

Thank you very much, looking forward to hear from you soon.

Thanks a lot!
Most of the photos were shot by me, but I also receive a lot from others as well, like juge75. But all of them are "first-hand" pics.
Unfortunately I have no idea where I could find that AT-L, since older vehicles are usually destroyed...
There is one big military park to visit, but not for now. Maybe next spring... Sorry.

I am about to move all the photos from Picasa to normal gallery but I can't find a free webhost over 2 GB.

In the next months there will be no events/parks to visit, so I can't upload new stuff, unless other modellers send me some.

Cheers,
Adam
