Good news indeed. I've got pre-order in with Great Models for this. I like the included brass grills, metal tube and wire cables. I am sure there will be release of several variatins and a ton of AM as this is one of those classic AFV's that showed up throughout the world in various configurations.

I do like the PE and aluminium barrel.

One of the serious problems in planning against Canadian doctrine is that the Canadians do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligations to follow their doctrine.

So has this changed again??
I have releases from my supplier Stevens International, whom are the US importer for Trumpeter.
Originally this was being released in September, but when they sent me the October releases and said that it was pushed back to an October release.
What is the actual release of this kit? Would be nice to know for those of us hobby shops that are offering pre-orders for the kit.
Thanks!

A question... are the pipes for the rear fuel tanks too difficult to be made in plastic?
Hope it's not a stupid question

Hey there Gaoyue,
By August, do you mean August in Asia? Usually a month before it hits here, and if it is late August, plus a month, would put it to late Sept, early Oct here in North America.
Sound about right?
I am just going by what Stevens International is telling me, and they are saying October for the US. I have a pre-order offered for this kit (among others) and if it comes out earlier then the advertised October, then I have to change my pre-order to my customers!
Thanks!

Dear Hisham
Could you give me more photo of the pipes? maybe I can find a way, On the T-62 with BDD they use the rear fuel tanks as same as T-72

This is a pic of a T-55 I got from the "PrimePortal" site. I hope tha's allright.
But I've seen pics of T-62 models where the modellers had to add these pipes (Fuel Lines) using thin metal pipes.

Again, I hope I'm not mistaken.

Gau Yue,
I have some really good photo's of T-55 fuel lines, which I think are the same as this (the Duxford T-62 doesn't have fuel lines) PM me and I'll post them. I really can't see how you could do them in plastic though.

For what it's worth a German website gives an October release date (probably a realistic target, at least for Europe?) :

In Asia maybe. I just got an update, direct from the "Horse's Mouth" IE: Steven's International, they they won't be out in North America until late Sept, or early Oct. depending on when they get their shipment.
Thanks!

If I were the seller, I would provide an originally shot pic of the box instead of using the official image of the box art.
Actually there are no current pics about what this kit contains exactly.
