Btw, what type of tracks is the kit going to have, rubber band, individual, or link & length?

Even though this kind of vehicle wouldn't benefit that much from indi tracks as they don't sag much, if at all, but I'd personally greatly appreciate the inclusion of styrene tracks, individual or link & length.

AAVP7 have the moveable track & road whells

So the CV90 might have them as well?
(thinkin' of the Hobby Boss AAVP7...Isn't Trumpeter part of the same concern as HB?)

Since the 9040 don't have ant return rollers there is quite a bit of sag but you don't see it behind the skirts

I add my 2 cents ! To say I agree 10 000 times with Kimmo Rajala ('lo Kimmo ) asking for a finnish CV90/30 !

4 sure I'll be getting one of those ! A finnish one !

I'm building one for an IPMS review.

Great kit, it contains perhaps the smallest injected parts I've ever seen!

One thing i can;t figure out is what causes the wear pattern on the rim of the wheel?

See the above model, he has represented it well, I've also seen it in shots of the real IFV.

Anyone know the answer?

The wheels are made of aluminum and the paint don't stick well to aluminum.

So Erik's review states that
"missing from the turret is the machine gun barrel. I belive academy has worked from images of parked vehicles, and these have the machine gun removed. But when the gun is mounted the barrel protrudes a bit outside the vehicle. In 1/35th scale I think almost a centimetre. The machine gun used on the 9040B is the Kulspruta m/39, which is a variant of the Browning .30.
The bad thing is that the berforated jacket around the barrel is different. The standard browning has circular holes, the Ksp m/39 has elongated holes."

What does this Kulspruta M/39 look like? My google search turned up nothing. Anyone has photos of this? Frenchy?
