Hello guys. I plan to build an Africa Corps Division for this armour. Any suggestion regarding the color scheme of this vehicle , and whether to put camo or not ( and what color) ? The current base color is enamel Model Master Panzer Dunkelgelb.

Hi Shahrid, you have a few choices to go with. I guess yyour using Model Master enamels.
One color that can be used is Model Master ( #2098 ) Afrika Khakibraun. There are also others from MM. I can't comment on the camo, my references are not here at this time and I don't want to give you anthing without being able to get 100% verification..

Camo was uncommon on DAK vehicles. If you plan on showing wear and tear on the paint, consider that most DAK vehicles were repainted fromdark gray to desert yellow.

Almost all of the photos I've seen of these vehicles in the DAK were painted the Sandgelb (Sand Yellow) over the original Panzergrau (Panzer Gray). With the exception of some of the gray showing thru the worn or chipped yellow, I have never seen the application of other camo colors over the Sandgelb.
Hope this helps!

Have you considered a pastel chalk "slurry" over Panzergrau?? Many early DAK vehicles were camouflaged w/ local mud, as sand paint wasn't high on the supply priority list.
