Hi Xavier
A fantastic effort.!
The level of detail is outstanding. Well done. I am interested to see how the rest of the diorama progresses.

That is awesome Xavier.

Nice work and great detail.

48 views and only one reply makes you wonder.

More pics would be good also.

Heck a build log or something even better.

Cheers

Nice job. Was it a kit or a full scratch build, if I had to say I'd say it was a full scratch. So share where you got the nice lazer etched pieces for the windows.

One criticizm is that I think the drain pipes are a bit over scale. The small pointy roof with the two exhaust stacks looks a bit crooked in the 3rd photo.

Please keep us up to date on this.

Wonderful building and since is not destroyed it will be interesting to see how you would make all the interior details like furniture, drapes etc.Looking forward to that build.

Awesome house, Xavier! You can put a tank in front of it if you want, but I'm sure this scene doesn't require one!
a couple questions if you don't mind. What did you use for the roof panels? they look metalized. Foil? What is the origin of the scrollwork and 'gingerbread' fascia on the window?
Please keep us updated on this. It's really interesting so far!
Cheers!

Hello to all!

First of all thanks to all people to contest my post i´m very glad!

Garth: I still don´t know what i´ll do, which history....

Jeff: I don´t have more pictures, just one or two but not during the building progress.Sorry for that!

Scoot: Thank for critizise, for me is good because it hel me to be better doing dioramas :-) Yes it´s a full scratch build, the window details was a wood laser cut each (i don´t know now the brand), but it was a 1/48 garden fends. I´ll note this of the pipes and roof!

Chris: I´m sorry but i´ll not do the interiors... i´ll paint the interiors in black.

Thanks Koen!

Rick: The roof i made with recicled aluminium sheets, very easy to cut! About the windos detail i have write it before :-) thanks a lot Rick! I´ll no put a big tank.... some smal and some figures maybe!

Again thanks to all for posting and maybe i´ll post a project i did before this one, also a latvia house!

P.D: Sorry for my english

Hi Xavier. You´ve captured the style beautifully. Love the woodwork, but the metal roof detail is amazing. Can´t wait to see this painted up ... what a backdrop to some figures it will be!!

I really love the whole thing but what you've done with the roof is a masterpiece...

Great job Xavier........looks quite a bit like the real thing. Don't worry about your spelling .....a lot of us are from English speaking countries and we can't spell either. Me included.

Your house is great, you should take it to a model competition.

Hello Momann and Milvehfan,

Thnaks for your comments.

Momann, i'll bring for sure those project to model contests. :-)

Milvehfan, yes i've decided the scene, in fact i don't want a big vehicle, i wnat that the house is the most important. So i decided to put the new tamiya Citroen, it's a very nice vehicle and very easy to built.

Ther ewill be the driver and a soldier who goes aout of the ca rto do a fast piss behind the house.

Well i'll try to put some pictures.

thanks to both!

P.d.: Momann i'll be in germnay in september in Cologne if you wnat to go for some colds!
