Good work and happy to see a new potential "addict" to the hobby!!!
Keep on going like this...

Not bad! It may be her stepping stone to be a great modeler. You see, only few women are in the hobby. Good to know some females enjoy what we do :-)

Good work there.
Ill guess the absence of the ol man only helped.
.
Hey!
She did get a little concerned when she first bought the model and I offered to help with the Camo scheme, weathering and stowage I offered to help her make a camo net to cover it with also...#:-) You don't think that had anything to do with her decision to go it alone, do you?

I think she does a better job than me #:-) . Someone here mentioned that females have better motor skills, and after watching Erin and Jean, her mom, there is little doubt of that.
Erin said that she really enjoyed the build, and is looking forward to her next project. She is being particular about what it will be, some sort of car model I think. She has also shown an interest in aircraft, as has her mother. I continue to attempt to persuade them to do some armor... So far I have been nice about it... But may have to resort to more drastic measures #:-)

Testors has a good line of Die-Cast car kits. They are a good stepping stone from "screw-n-show' kits like she just finished to full blown glue kits. They have prepainted bodies, and reduced parts counts, but still require some glue to finish. They also make the Lincoln Mint kits with lots of parts and pre-painted bodies.
Pass along my congratulation to Miss Erin, it's a fine job she's done there.
Go chrome, or go home!!!!
