Does anyone market a 1/35th figure of the famous "Panzer Count", Hyazinth Graf Strachwitz? I am specifically hopeing to find a figure that depicts him in the turret of his Mark III as seen on p. 52 of Jung's "History of Panzerregiment Grossdeutschland. Thanks for any help!

I don't recall seeing a figure that depicts Graf Strachwitz...
Also if I remember correcltly, he is not wearing normal issued
uniforms in the pic you mentioned. He seems to be wearing
privately purchased dark civilian type animal hide coat and furcap.
Good luck!

Thanks, Taesung. I'm hoping some resin figure artist takes this project on--I bet it would sell . . .

2.5 years later, I've given up on getting a Strachwitz ready-made figure, so I am looking for a close-enough figure head wearing a Cossack style fur hat of the kind der Panzergraf wears at Kharkov in those photos in Jung's history of the GD PzRgt. Any suggestions anyone?
Thanks!

I have finally found references to two old Warriors figure sets that will make an acceptable Strachwitz figure, but of course I cannot find them anywhere. The Warrior sets are 35070 "German Headset #7" and 35399 "German Winter Pair". If anyone has a source for these two sets I would be most grateful to hear about it.

You can get a set of 35399 here:

Thank you HTH! I have ordered set 35399 from Modellbau. That will do for the body, but not the head.
Graf Strachwitz is wearing a German fur cap in the picture I am using as a reference. Warriors German Headset #7 catalogue number 35070 has several versions of this. But I will use similar head I can find in 1/35th scale.
Of course it would be even better if some artist would do a trulygood Strachwitz figure in resin. But I will take what I can get.
Again, thank you.
