I used the M-35A2 cab form AFV Club. I stretched the fenders and hood. I made molds of the modified cab and cast the parts in resin. the chassis and wheels are from the M-925 Italeri kit. the trailer is totally scratch built using photos from various sources. The wheels are also from the M-925 Italeri kit also. I widen the front axel and front fenders and scratch built the air cleaner. I covered the seats in tissue and weathered them. The fifth wheel is carved out of plastic stock from Evergreen plastics. I use Archer dry transfers over micro mark clear decal paper to make the markings for the truck and trailer.

I've followed this build right along as you've posted your various threads.
You scratch build guys have my respect. This model is just outstanding. Modeler of the Month material in my opinion.
Congrats on completing a unique build.

When I was a kid I built a couple "semi's" as we called em. They were one of the more difficult models we built. Than to see one scratch-built!
This is outstanding. You did a truly remarkable job Animal. I love it.
Are you going to write an article for us all to read?

Can't really add anything beyond what others have said, except to say "WOW." What an unusual subject - seeing models like this really breaks up the monotony.
