Here is an update on Tamiya's 1/35 8 ton halftrack with flakvierling. Since the last post, i have put about 90% of the halftrack together and have started painting it in a winter camo scheme. Almost all the painting has been done by drybrushing (alot). The pictures show the work so far. Some weathering has yet to be applied.
Any tips on how to further enhance this model or things i have forgotten are much appriciated!

Enjoy!

Lookin' good.
I like it very much. Can't wait to see weathering.

I'd recommend that you either remove the seam line in the tires or weather them with mud.

It''s looking good. The paint is convincing. This is going to be a winner when finished. Cheers

Looking good so far. Your drybrushing of the winter camo looks nice. Alot of brushing I'm sure. It helps make it look nice n worn.
I want to see the AA mounted.

Thor,
looks very impressive!
I´m just building a Horch in standard German Grey scheme and seeing your wonderful paint job gives me many ideas...very good timing!
I love the paintwork especially in the wheel area. What colours did you use? What was the base colour?

The only thing that comes to my mind about your weathering is that the chassis could perhaps use a sprinkle or two of the same brown tone shown in the wheel and track area. It would put the vehicle together really well!

Cheers,

Toni
