Hello all,
I finally finished my first kit being the (very old) Esci Demag D7.
Although it was merely intented to practice all the techniques i'm quit happy with the result.
As said earlier this is the first model where I practised the techniques of airbrushing, using washes, drybrushing, using pigments, making my own groundwork etc.
So here it is.

Hi Bep,
Youre first model with all the technics??????????????? looking verry good, I`m remember mine first one
There are some points of attention, but they are small ones, such as the seam in the oilbarrel and the Jerrycans.
Keep up the good work
Ronald

This looks great. As stated in last post by Ronald the seams on the fuel cans and oil drum should be filled and sanded. This is a very good dio all in all. Well done!!

Great first model, keep refining the techniques and pushing your own envelope. I find that each model I build is just a wee bit better than the one before. I agree with the others about those seams on the barrel and gas can.

Looking good for a first model techniques test bed. Very good. In no time at all, I'll be scared to show mine. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments. I have to agree about the fuel drum. As said this was my first time when I used the techniques like sanding and filing. The can is from my older days were I didn't use any technique at all. I just painted everything on the sprues, cut them and glued them without taking care of anytihing. It is since I discovered ArmoramA that I became aware of all this nice work. :-)

Excellent Job Bep. I built this very same kit not too long ago . It has lots of small fragile little parts that require alot of patience. I really like the windshield and the canvas top, is that wet tissue paper you used ? One small suggestion next time replace the plastic tow cable with one made out of braided wire or use a small chain and rust it up. much more realistic.

Very nice. I really like the mud on the tires and tracks. Great color; it's all too easy to have mud look cartoonish, but yours is quite realistic.

Ola Dirk
Fantastic job on the Demag. Looks like all your experimenting on this vehicle is awarding very well. great paintjob I also like the figure that is reading that paper. The groundworks is outstanding.
Great job overall and I would like to see this one in the flesh at the KMK scale world are you going to bring it with you???

Very nice work.
Is realy your FIRST kit?
What you do is fantastic. keep working like this.
the only thing that you have to work a little bite is the canvas of the roof, esp. on the back. (i think you use toilet paper or tissue, didn't you?)
