Yes this is true early version. Like on Moscow parade 1990.

A T-80B would also fit into the "badly needed" categorie. At least for me...

As others have said, I will repeat

Thanks Gaoyue for your excellent work bringing us these long needed kits.

I appreciate both your efforts to bring us excellent accurate models and the efforts of the community here to help provide all the details and support to make them as accurate as possible.

Do the sayings "Many hands make light work" and "Too many cooks spoil the broth" translate well into Chinese?
I hope the thoughts of people here are more like the first than the second.

Mike

9 versions?!?!oh, my aching wallet...
Yes please! I will take one of each!
Then many many many BMP 1 and 2 versions as well.

Cool!

I back ordered this almost as soon as it was announced; so it is good to see that its eventual release will converge nicely with MasterClub's new modern Russian figures.

BTW: This is one of the best threads on a new release that I have read... great discussion on the kit and very useful sharing of may detail photos that would not be available otherwise. Many thanks for all the information being shared!

Pierre,
A+ is right! As a school teacher, that's the grade you get from me for posting those.
What great pictures!

Hopefully I've referenced the right picture above.
What is the purpose of the three fittings along the left rear hull edge?
