Nice Model ! Good review! Something I have been looking for since dragon failed to furnish one with their kit... Where can I find it in the states without going directly to the manufacture!

I believe it's only available from the manufacturer, but I'll check. Alternately, the owner's English is excellent and you can email him for an answer.

Bumping this, because it's a great kit and the manufacturer is a small one that could use all the support it can get.

Bill, this is one review Im glad to see. I was wanting to get it for the 7 , but having built one of the Weener kits, the L4500 a few years ago..I was afraid to get this one..sounds like the two in quality are as different as night and day.

I can state categorically that this is one of the best kits, plastic or resin, I've ever built. The fit is excellent, astonishing for a small company like this. I've had resin upgrades that took MAJOR reworking to fit, and this is as far from that as the dawn from the dusk.

After having read more carefully your review, I have been convinced that it was worth it a shot.

This is in fact, my next budgeted acquirement for next month. I have been on Wiener's website and it is a pity to see, that he has just a very limited line available.

Yet, said that, one has to remember that quality does never reside in quantity.

It is therefore, in a way, better to see a producer who limits himself and does what he does the way it should be done, rather than come up with dozens, if not hundreds of things that are badly manufactured.

I admire the guy.

I have also noticed that he is very attached to the story of Baron von Trapp (hence a more furnished Naval items section), made famous through the Musical "The Sound of Music" and who was an actual sea-faring Captain who retired, then eventually fled Austria when the National-Socialists decided to annect his "Homeland". In other words, a true Patriot. At least for some.
For others he was blamed for having "deserted" his Country in a moment of need.
Go figure...

Anyway, I am convinced. I will buy this particular jewel as my personal Christmas present...

You're most welcome, Patrick. I don't think you'll be disappointed, especially as you have the Bronco kit to compare it with. A very nice piece of work by WMM. Please let him know the review prompted your purchase, as he is a small shop struggling to live in the world of the giant companies.

Having just Reviewed the Sd.Kfz 6/2 by Bronco, looks like this is a 'must-have' for the '6' rather than the company's Sd.Ah.52. Hopefully now, they'll consider the SdAh 57

That's a good point, Jim. And this kit is simply so good that one can almost justify buying and building it first, THEN putting it on a vehicle.

It remains one of the best kits I've ever built, both for the execution of the parts and the way they go together. It's a resin kit and not for the newbie, but if you've ever wondered about resin, this could be a good "first try" because it requires none of the extensive clean-up, nor poor-fitting parts that we sometimes have to put up with in resin kits because they're the only version of a particular vehicle or gun.
