Nice review of a nice model. I especially like the variant with the pig in the sidecar, which will pair nicely with the horsedrawn gulashkanonne. But to be honest the boxart would make an even greater model!

Thanks for reading and comments!
@Thomas, I do agree with you - model as shown on box-art would be great but in real life I would not like to ride in sidecar with a dead pig on my knees... I often ride in sidecar of my friend's Ural modified and repainted to act as WWII BMW R-75 and believe me - there is no room for a pig .

Looks like a great little kit - I like the alternate options provided. Did the SS or police use the R 12 as well?

Lows: Lack of battery
Aw, c'mon. How often have you purchased an item with the notice "Batteries Not Included" on the box?
Seriously, it looks like a nice little kit. A motorcycle alway is a welcome addition for a diorama.

It is interesting that you mention the lack of a battery Andrzej as it was one of the complaints Henk had about the Zvezda Mercedes-Benz L 4500 A.

Maybe Zvezda has "Batteries not included" policy as Joseph mentioned .
@ Julian,
I don't know about police, but as far as I know SS used it. The kit offers only Wehrmacht decals so you would have to buy AM or simply paint the numbers.
Thank you for reading.

Great review Andrzej. There must have been a pent up demand for motorcycles this year. As a cycle rider, I have to say I like it.
