I like it. I have been looking at all the tanks you guys are building and I am getting the urge to build one myself. Yours is great. What is the paint color that you used?

Nice one mikeli125. Its hard to see what streaks you are talking about from the fotos, but to me this looks great. I like the shades you have used. Are those the kit tracks you have used?

hi all the tracks are the rubber band type supplied with the kit I fixed them to the road wheels with super glue one wheel at a time anduse photo's for reference to the sag the colour was custom mixed by myself using the taymia mag article as a guide but made the paint a little lighter
thanks for all your comments :-)

mikeli125. Exellent work. I like the fading on your basecoat. Use of the kit tracks looks great too. This is an Iraqi T-55 correct ? Looks awesome ! Did you use any after-market parts ?

I'm building the same Tamiya T-55 kit, except mine will be a Czech Republic T-55. You can see it here on the Rivet Board in-progress (under Alpenflage). Will post more photos as I go along.

Keep up the good work !!!

Cheers !

Looking at the pics it just looks great. If you can post more details of what in your view it's wrong, the usual giant "brainstorming" can work out something useful to solve the problem...

cheers for the kind words lads once i figure out how to take proper close ups you'll see what i mean bout the washes ect no after part stuff was used just the wire for the tow rope which i'll fit some time this week the base coat was taymia xf-61 (dark green) I havent lightened the panels in places just how it turned out but I did try to leave the colour thinner round the lower areas of the turret ect but hey i enjoyed it great kit :-)
