This is one of my earlier works. I built it about 5 years ago in a couple weekends. It represents a USMC M3 Stuart Light Tank on Guadalcanal in 1942. Built OOB, cept for the stretched spue anntenna, and other minor detail. Camo scheme was taken from the Concord book called "Armor of the Pacific War". The kit is not 100% accurate, but I had fun building it. Base OD is airbrushed with hand-painted camoflage with Polly S paints. Weathering are from Polly S's weatheing set. Decals are from Verlinden. Figure is from the kit, painted in the USMC tanker camo overalls. As stated, this kit was done a few years back, and will be a good comparison to my latest works. I have a few other older kits I will be posting on Amorama soon, along with more recent kits/figures as well.
Cheers, Blokes !!
Robert

Robert, I like it very much. Especially the Marine Camo. This is one of Tamiya's older kits and suffers from all kinds of accuracy shortfalls. So no need to worry about correcting, when we just want to have fun. You did a nice job on an OOB model.
Lets see more!
PS: I'm not sure where you got the URL address for the pics but, somehow they were wrong. I was able to track down the address to your pics through the address you provided and corrected the top three photos. I intentionally left the forth pic (the red X) alone to see if you could maybe locate the error. If you need help, please ask. KF
EDIT:Never mind. It appears you got it.

Thanks Kencelot ! I goofed, but yes I did see the editing and corrected it. This kit was a blast to build, and even more so to paint. I will be posting more on here as time goes by. I have more older kits, and as many inprogess ones as well.
Again, thanks for the editing.....and for giving me the heads up. Good to go !!

this is a nice model and one which is rarely done in the 'Pacific' marine role.
I note that you had fun building it and that's what it is all about :-)
