Hello at all!

Because there were som people who would like to see my build models i'd like to show them. I normally build 2 or 3 models per year becuase I haven't much time and I only build if I have the pleasure to build. So the models aren't perfect but I try to learn from others.

This is a Wiesel 1A4 MK. I built this from the AF Wiesel but I scratched the tracks and the laser measuring system and the antenna. The barrel is from Schatton, really very nice.

This one is the Leopard 1A5 from Revell. I only changed some smaller parts and scratched the mounting of the add on Armour on the turret.

The LKW 10t milgl is also from Revell. I scratched all the hydraulics and I changed some parts on the crane to let it look more like real.

Revell's LKW 0,5t gl Wolf. It is build nearly straight out of the box, I only builded a new mounting for the spare wheel.

The next is my Marder 1A5. Built from The 1 A3 from Revell. I scratched all parts to make him a 1A5.

The next ones will follow, but I first have to upload the new pics.

Greetings from Germany

The next ones...

LKW 7t milgl with FH 70. The MAN is from Revell as all of them with some smaller modifications. The FH 70 is from Hobby FAN with a lot of scratch build to make a Bundeswehr model from it.

LKW 5t milgl with TFK 250 (tactical field kitchen). The TFK is fully scratch build.

Leopard 2 A6 from Revell with engine from Real Model. Some parts were scratched ore modificated because the engine doesn't fitted so good.

Leopard 2 A4 from Revell, only some small changes

My first 1:35 model kit: Leoaprd 2 A5 from Revell. It looks very brown but not in real, it seems to be from the flash.

TPz fuchs Pioniergruppe. Build from the Revell model kit with some small modifications.

Revell's Marder 1 A3

Beobachtungspanzer, build from Revell's Kanonenjagdpanzer.

SpPz Luchs A2, build from the Revell kit. One of my first model kits also with some faults. I have actually the same one on my workbench but there I changed the things that were faulty.

The last one:

SLT 56 with Panzerhaubitze 2000. The SLT is from Trumpeter and the Panzerhaubitze from Revell. Both with some small modifcations. They aren't really finished, I don't know if I would build a diorama for them so they are not fixed together.

Very nice builds and camo.

I'd love to see some of the older vehicles in the gelboliv paint.

Thanks for the comments!

@ Matthew: I would wait, in december there should be a new Leopard 1A5 from Italerie and it seems to be the same as the one from Revell but much cheaper than on ebay.

@ Paul Truhe:I don't build any gelboliv vehicles. I only build things that were in use at the time as I served at the Bundeswehr. This was 2003, so on my information, there wans't anything more in gelboliv.

Tobias,

What a great collection! I really like the scratchbuilt field kitchen - does it open up to reveal the full workings?

Been a really long time since I posted here but, here it goes..... Great work!!! Love modern stuff and have quit a few of these on my shelf. Just noticed one thing that gave me the hardest time on my models for the longest time. The "silvering" of the decals has 2 resolutions that I know of. Gloss coating or "futuring" before application is one but, I just can't bring myself to do it. Gloss is soooooo not military, in my opinion, and waiting for these coats to dry is as fun as,well........watching paint dry. I came up with a mix that skips this and only requires the dullcoat after. I mix 50/50 (roughly) white glue with microsol and use it. Set the decal in water, apply a thin coating to your decal area, apply decal to area, and use the same mix to set it over raised detail. Let it dry and dullcoat and weather to your hearts content. Just my 2 cents (but after taxes, I owe money). Definitely inspired me to get back to my workbench, Brother. Thanks

Hello Guys!

It's an old thread but I've got some new models built since the last post (all in 1:35).
At first my last build, a MiVS 85 (mine laying system 85), build from the RN Modell kit with a lot of scratched parts:

Second a MAN 5t from Revell with a 2x2300l tank. The Tanks are from FCM also with a lot of scratched parts. The pump with the cover is fully scratched.
I also scratched the whole side plates and made a small resin model kit of it.

And at last a SpPz Luchs A2 from Revell with new tires and also some scratched details:

I hope you enjoy my models!

Regards from Germany

Tobias

Hi Tobias nice collection.

For the Unimog turret I recommand you the set from MR Modellbau 35257. I have used it on mine and it looks nice.

You have to remove some plastic on the top before put the turret
Here my built.

An armored cab would be nice for this kit.

Do you plan to built another Bundeswehr models ?

Boxer, Boxer San, Fennek, Dingo 1, Dingo 2, Eagle IV...

My MAN 6x6 with scratchbuilt armored cab:

Tobias,
What a nice collection 'BW Fahrzeuge'.
And a pleasure to see the MAN serie again.
Still missing the Revell 10 t truck. With some etch and MR parts it should be able to get a good representation. At least it worked with my 5t MAN!
Hopefully it will turn up somewhere soon again.

Looking forward to see more,

Bis bald,

P.
