I missed the last Half Track Campaign. Was wondering if there is any interest in a new Half Track Campaign during 2010?

I'd be interested for the second half of 2010. Have a couple of american halftracks in the stash.
By the way: Didn't we already have this thread?
Cheerio!

I started another thread to see if one was planned and if I could use my Rommel's Rod as a kit for it. But I did not actually ask anyone to start up the campaign so I decided to be more direct this time.

I would be more than happy to see another half track campaign.

I'd be interested if it included what-if's, science fiction, and Rommel's Rod

What-if's sci fi or half track rods are good, I was hoping to make it very open. I personnally am planning on building Rommel's Rod and modern half track.

Somehow I can't get too enthusiastic over a half track campaign on ARMORAMA that includes SyFy and Rommels Rods. Kind of defeats the purpose of "ARMORAMA CAMPAIGNS" in my opinion. Especially since the Kitmaker network has FORUMS designed for SyFy and Rommel Rod type of modeling.
To me it's like having a TRUCK CAMPAIGN, and asking if I can enter with an airplane.

Good point. I didn't actually pay attention to where this thread's home was while replying. Still interested though.

I second that!
How about a more specific halftrack-campaign? Maybe a campaign for unarmoured halftracks, open to all halftracks that were designed as such, so that uparmoured vehicles could enter too?

Good point. Maybe need to rethink this one.

Or we could open it to model geek (which IIRC is where scifi goes)? There are other campaigns that cover several kitmaker sites. Alternatively there could be a WWII scifi campaign on model geek oncluding all those rommels rods and walking tanks. As for specific unarmored halftrack campaign don't think there would be enough interest. How about a US halftrack campaign?
my 2 cents...
cheerio!

I am on
I think we should have it on armorama, but without the sci fi stuff. That is for the Modelgeek forum.
