A great preview. What I'm still wondering about is how paintable the tires are. Any comment on that?

I'm not too worried about the rubber tires taking paint, as I'm sure resin replacements will show up.
but I'm more concerned about the front plate that seens to have a nice set of sink marks.
from the looks of the photo.

Not sure about the tires. They are a typical black rubber material so...
Nice catch on that Dave. There is indeed sink mark on that surface. I'm sure it could be filled and sanded easily as it doesn't run to the very edge where the weld detail is.
Cheers,
Jim

Right on que, amongst Tankograds next batch of new releases is a book on the "4-Rad-Panzerspähwagen Sd.Kfz. 221, 222, 223, 260, 261", which should be a nice reference.
Thanks for the review Jim. This is one to go straight to the top of the Christmas list.

Definitely one of the "cool" German vehicles. Some of their stuff is so recognizable by shape....
Nice review, Jim.
