what that man said, it looks great, sorry if this comes across as a bit bone headed, would you happen to know what manner of French tractor it is, make and type?

Also would MK35 have plans for farming equipment, like ploughs/plows, carts etc.

Really nice model though.

Looks like a very useful kit, and dio scenes are already running through my head - but, ouch, that price

I can't say for certain what tractor it's supposed to represent, but it looks more like an Italian Orsi to me. My next bet would be a SFV.

It would be interesting to hear from the manufacturer on this point

A McCormick-Deering 10/20? That's not a French brand at all. That's a US (founded in Illinois) company, so I'm not sure about the French connection. In fact, I can't really imagine any French farmers importing a US tractor during the pre and post war days.

Good looking tractor, but the points do arrise. the tractor on our farm didn't have a removeable strart crank, don't know if they were removeable on them. the rear tires look to be of a newer pattern from the 60s, pics I have seen of them here in the U.S. for that time period show a mix of rubber and steel ones. I don't know about tires on French tractors from that era so I could be wrong. and as Rudi said, how many Farmers could afford an import tractor? still a real nice tractor.

Cool little kit. Good addition to a dio I guess.

Nice looking kit, but agree the tyres look too modern for the 20/30 and 40s.

According to some books dealing with French tractors, the first tractor rubber tires appeared on the French market in 1932...

Not just WWII. I've been looking for an appropriate tractor for quite some time. Most in my area were John Deere, but this one was obviously not. Since these were taken less than one kilometer from the Syrian border, and given their earlier ties with France, I can easily justify (in my own mind at least) the use of the Mk35 French tractor in iraq.
