Very nicely done, Guy! I've got one similarly intended for an Oradour massacre scene I'm planning. In that case, the Germans destroyed the cars as they wiped out the town; the rusty hulks are still there where they had sat. The thing is, I know very little about these vehicles. And I have a question for you: what did you mean when you said you built yours with an "opened windshield"? Did they open or lay down like a Jeep's? That description doesn't match your pictures... what am I missing?
Alan's thread mentioned an after-market upgrade set. Does anyone know if it adds significant value to the product?
Also, where can I read about the production cycle of this vehicle, variants etc.? What colors did civilian models in France come in?
Can't wait to see your finished diorama!

Excellent choice of colours for the model. The weathering is heavy but not at all unnatural. I love it.
I remember an old eyewitness telling me he saw the Germans painting over ex-civilian vehicles in a Tilburg city square. The TA would be ideal for a diorama like that. And/or the Bronco Opel. If I recall it correctly , they had an Opel Blitz shop van to work from.

I've been debating as to whether I wanted to get this kit, and your excellent production of it has pushed to it! Great job!

Hi Guy,
Sorry coming to this one a bit late. Excellent build, I like your finish. The only down side with the kit is the radiator and the dash board.
Cracking looking kit, well done.
Al

Guygantic will probably let you know, but the Citroën is gone.
There went something wrong in the last step of completion.
And he couldn't save it from wreckage.
Erikssson.

Hello friends, As Erik said, this car is no more. Something went wrong while finishing the project. The gloss black paint became a kind of blue after using white spirit for fixing the pigments. I've learnt a hard lesson, next time I'll use the Mig pigment fixer.
