Thanks Gerald. Looks like it is the M4A1, Thunderbolt IV, and track set then.

Gino it's the Thunderbolt VII kit you need not IV

Typo, that is the one I have on the way. Thanks.

J Your pretty new to the site, and already you are already making a bad image of yourself. I know this isnt my business, but again show some respect.

Maybe this web persona is new but it sure looks like a departed older one

Al

Indeed it does. I'm starting to notice a pattern here too. The fact that he shills for Sprue Brothers is a dead giveaway. Some habits die hard, don't they Gary?
It won't be hard to prove.

Gino,
Years ago CMD made a T23 turret with mantlet cover-very good, and probally hard to find. If you can get one use it!

A customer wants me to build him an IDF M1 Sherman w/76mm high velocity gun from the Six Day War, June '67, time period. It looks like the below pics.

Does anyone know what kit or kit combos/conversions would be best to make this? All I can find is the Academy M51 model and that has the wrong gun. Any ideas?

Gino,
Hands down the best kit bash possability would be the Academy M51 kit with Commanders late sherman turret. Or if you wish to stick with DML stricly, then you need the M51 kit for the hull and IDF equipment load, and any Late M4A3 from DML for the late turret w/ oval loaders hatch, and periscope commanders hatch. The only thing to watch is to make sure you use a late cast hull for the chassis. Horizontal suspension, Twin hatch engine access cvr. For the turret you can use a mantlet cover or one without cover. 50 cal. mount is to the rear between hatches. Hope this helps. Good luck
