Looks excellent. Check the barrel where the hollowed out tip mates with the rest. Looks like there's a seam there. Other than that, no problemo.

Nice job!
What colors did you use for painting? I am getting ready to paint mine, and am having trouble sorting out what colors to use. Did you use enamels or acrylics?

Good looking model. I've heard a lot of good things about this kit. Your paint job is crisply done. Fine model.

That`s a real nice honey you got there. Other then the seam AJLafleche mentioned and maybe some black drybrushing to simulate that the tank fired a couple of rounds I can`t find anything that is wrong with this machine
Great Paintjob too

Very nice ! I like the paint scheme very much.
I can see the change in color on the tip of the cannon too. If you don't want to fill, maybe you can hide it with some black soot / pastel.

You're right about the barrel AJLaFleche. I'll have to do a bit of wok there.
Arengca? I used Tamiya acrylics throughout. The blue/grey was a custom mix bit I can't remember exactly the colours or proportions used, sorry.

Gad I like your work. It's so clean and sharp. I don't have anything to add except my admiration for your work.
The more I see of this kit the more sure I am that I have to get it. I guess the poor old Tamiya Stuart that I have is going to sell it's life dearly as a practice kit.

Phantom Major......I started with Tamiya XF53, darkened it with a few drops of Nato Black XF69, and then added XF18 Medium Blue bit by bit until the right shade was achieved.

It's a honey! I like the mechanisms on the front hatches, and the prop rods...much much better than the kit ones, since there aren't any in the kit!
The front of the siren looks a different color than the rest of it, is this a trick of light in the photo? It's probably from handling but the tow shackes on the front aren't hanging straight down like they should...hopefully not glued in place.
Maybe someday I'll do one of these to go next to my Stuart.

The Stuart is one of my favorite tanks, and I really like your rendition. While I can appreciate the weathering techniques used by others, people seem to forget that at one time, these vehicles were new and relatively unscathed. I've seen some models that no self respecting tanker would be caught dead in (pun intended). It's refreshing to see one done as you did yours.

Personally i would love more pictures of the disabled "Bellman" M3 does anyone know of a web site that has more of them ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Great article on Hyperscale tonight about this ... check it out!! More pics of this vehicle with an interesting colour debate. the guy concerned reckons that there was never any blue in this pattern. It should be BSC 34 Slate, (dark green-grey)
Hyperscale, Bellman article At the ned of the day ... its a first class model Teacher. I like the finish and am a little envious... I wouldnt mind having this beauty in my collection finished to this standard.

Hey Teacher,
A good looking Honey! Just a couple of questions though. I can see anantenna mout on the rear deck, but no antenna. Didn't they all carry radios? And I was wondering would the underside of the commanders hatch be painted white? When open,it would be very visible.
Just wondering.
I'm not too smart, but I can lift heavy stuff.
