Hi Gang, I`m toying with an idea to use a 1/32 scale toy metal Land Rover as a base kit for a Landy in Iraq.I thought i`d go down this road as i can`t afford Accurate Armour`s prices (and I`m crap at resin kits !).
I thought i`d post it here to see what feedback i`d get as any ideas/suggestions would be most welcome.

Have you considered altering Italeri's SAS combat car kit No 258.

I agree, go for it. You can do a lot with diecast. Check out what I am in the process of making here.

Go ahead try it. Bob Steinbrun (sp) had an article in Fine Scale Modeler a few months ago where he worked over Corgi's Beep into Patton's command car.
