Thanks for the news Jim.
A German Ford! Alright! 2010 is the year of the softskin!
If it's as good as their Studebaker this will be a huge hit!
I never thought we'd see so many trucks in styrene!

There are some interesting kits, but:
I still wait for a modern russian artillery system since nearly 9 years.
The 2S19 MSTA-S was announced in 2001.(or earlier)

Now if MiniArt would only do a tram!

This truly is a great time to be a modeler. I feel like I could build an entire motor pool.

Awesome news. The Ford truck, the Admiral and the kfz.2s are very exciting. And a whole whack of horse drawn stuff - very cool. Definitely on my must buy list!

And people say manufacturers don't listen to the masses.

Every time there was a "what do you want in styrene" thread over the past year or so everyone says "trucks"

And wallah! We have trucks ( I'm in hog heaven, I love the old trucks ).

Someone start several "what do we want" threads asking for Btitish/Commonwealth arty please.

Hey, I'm OCD for trams, Matt!

Seriously, a wrecked or burned-out tram is a signature European diorama element, whether in the street or piled up as a barracade. Seen lots of photos over the years with burned-out or wrecked trams in cities at war. There was a beautiful resin tram kit available a few years back, but who wants to spend $150 on something you're going to wreck?

Have you tried 1 Scale Train manufacturers ? I've seen model railway trams by some German maker ( LBG or LGB, something like that ) .I think those are about 1/24 scale though.

My dad was into G-scale, and they're waaaaay to big for our needs (1/35th). But thanks for the idea!

Yeah, Model Expo carries 4 tram model kits, but they're all 1/24 scale and $99.99.

Or the market for panzer IVs, IIIs, StuGs, Panthers and Tigers is already too saturated, and where else do the manufacturers go? Whatever the reason, Im really glad ..... all these new releases are a dream come true for diorama builders. Keep them coming.

I'm glad all of these kits are coming out at a time when I can actually afford to buy the things I want.
It really is a great time to be a modeller. People say this hobby is dying!? El Toro Poo Poo!
I can't see it. If producing models were not a lucrative venture we wouldn't see all of the new releases by these manufacturers. If we support them and keep on buying (I have enough kits to last me until 2029) they will keep on producing.
Thanks for the heads up.

Jeff
