Hi there
I want to start sharing my newest idea. It shows the crew(Luiggi, Ciro and Francisco) of an italian semovente M40 who found a dinosaur-skeleton somewhere north-africa…They are now thinking about how to dig that ding out and sell it to a museum in Rome…
That’s what I´m goin´to use..

The old Tamiya-kit is far too expensive for a 1976 kit where they only added some useless photoetched parts and two new figures to call it “overwrought”
Well it was my decision that I must have him…I am not goin´ to add extras just ootb…
Here some pics from inside there’s not much that will be seen when the turret is on…

Had to change the arm of the old driverfigure(think its min. 1:32scale) cause it looked more that he was waving instead of maintaining the gearbox

The dino is some sort of raptor who should be between 2 (velociraptor)and 6 (Utahraptor) feet tall, but maybe they grew larger there than in what would become North America.
You do want to fix his legs, they are on backward, the sharp toe should point forward.

The legs are on backward. The first joint (knee) should point forward.

ok lets say you are right...
but the manufactor of the dinoskeleton is not because there was only this possibility of puting these parts together otherwise it would not stand???
maybe the dino died because of two broken twisted legs

Maybe you fitted the legs on the incorrect sides, left should be one right etc. don't know just guessing

Sorry...I am not wrong. the legs are on backwards or reversed left and right. The claws for which the animal was named, (terrible claw) face forward and were used for killing prey with a swift downward kick or slashing jump. Here are more traditional depictions (more lizard-like)

As well as a fossil skeleton:

Hey Holger. Cool idea you have there. No matter who's right about the position of leg/claw, wont matter. You probably would not find the skeleton all in one peice. More than likely it would be a group of bones scattered or at least a pile of bones on top of each other as the flesh decomposed so long as it was left undisturbed. Burying it part way in the ground would be convincing, as if the wind had errode the ground away to show the top part of the skeleton. To add to your story, you might have them circling an area of a map they have so they can come back to claim it latter after the war? History meets history, nice thought.

Scatter the bones a bit since animals of all sorts would have scavenged them. And leave a few bones out and missing completely. Makes sense to me .........
